Developed at the request of Rogers Communications to update the MSO's LGX-style fiber management systems to simplify processes and reduce costs, the LGXtra Patch Module is interoperable, interchangeable and compatible with all generic LGX-compliant enclosures and modules. Each module offers 12 or 24 SC/LC duplex/quad patch ports, depending upon configuration. The removable Mini-Splice Tray supports fusion splicing complete with magnetic splice sleeve holders, and provides fiber routing, bend radius protection and strain-relief.

Judge's Comment: "Every hub and headend with a fiber distribution panel should have one of these. The ability to qualify existing fibers and spare fibers for greater performance than what is deployed today is a great feature."
