Alpha's Gateway product line helps MSOs leverage existing HFC networks by offering power and backhaul for services such as small cells, WiFi, surveillance, security, and IoT. The Gateway line now features DOCSIS 3.1, with high-bandwidth backhaul up to 1 Gbps. Three new versions of the DOCSIS 3.1 enabled gateway include the AlphaGateway BSC, with four remote power connections offering up to 300 W of power; the AlphaGateway SMG-HP, with two ports with IEEE802.3 af/at, PoE+ delivery for a total of 100 W; and the Alpha ADOM (DOCSIS OEM Module), designed to seamlessly integrate with a third-party small cell radio solution.
